You Could Call Me The "Billy Mays of The Internet"

Hey if you're anything like me, you've sold everything from toothpicks to e-books online. People have gone so far as to call me "the Billy Mays of the internet". You know, the "Mighty Putty Guy" or "Oxy Clean", hell, you name it... I've even sold my carbon credits on Ebay!

Okay I'm only kidding. But I do know one thing... good selling is truly believing in what you sell.

People who say they don't like selling are trying to force the process. They secretly worry about whether or not people are going to buy their products. They think about what will happen if other people don't like them for being a "salesperson".

All of those thoughts are natural and normal.

Why do think that is?

It's because most people work for someone else who is a good sales person or a good self promoter. You either ARE a good salesperson or you work for one.

That's it, plain and simple.

The reason I sell so many different network marketing products and affiliate products is because I find things I love, and I share my love with other people. That is really secret of selling.

For example, I'm totally hooked on the Verve energy drink. It could be the good vitamins and energy I'm getting, or it could be the caffeine? I don't know, but I DO know that it's a product I love and am really excited about.

You naturally what to share things you love with the people you love. Why wouldn't you want to get paid for sharing love?

If you think about it we are all in the business of selling ourselves and our ideas to others. I've had people spend all day trying to sell me on the idea that they don't like to sell, or that they can't do something...

In the words of my old pal Joe Schroeder, "whatever you argue for you get to keep".

Why don't you start arguing for loving selling?

Start loving car sales people.

Start loving people who love to sell things.

Start loving to sell things yourself... because you either love to sell or you hate selling. Ask yourself who knows how to make more money?
